YMCA 5Km Fun Run Race Information

Run: This event consists of a 5km fun run starting at the south-eastern end of Oyster Pde and finishing at the North St finish arch (as per all other events held during the festival). From the start participants will run to the other end of Oyster Pde, turn right and head towards the Coastal Patrol HQ, swing right onto and continue along the path that runs around the base of the headland and back to North St. On reaching North St, participants will run to the south-eastern end of North St and continue onto the bush track and then pathway runs parallel to Head St. At approximately 100m before the Head St / Hadley St intersection participants will run onto Head St and then continue ‘up’ Bennett Head Rd, turn right onto Boundary St, right on Lincoln St and left onto Hadley St. Just before the Hadley St / Lake St intersection participants will complete a U turn and run towards Head St. At the Hadley St / Head St intersection participants turn left and then run back to the finish line at North St via the same route used on the run out.
